The Challenge
Every year, the Cannes Film Festival brings together the biggest brands, celebrities, media, and content creators from around the world. In this particularly competitive environment, where dozens of events are organized each day, the challenge is as much to capture attention as it is to create a truly memorable experience.
Designed by Maison Bold for this 2026 edition as a chic and intimate interlude at the heart of one of the world's most media-hyped events, this activation aimed to gather content creators, talents, personalities, and VIP guests around a premium experience that fostered both interactions with the brand and the creation of organic content.

In a context where many brands rely on events bringing together several hundred guests, we made the opposite choice: to create an activation that is deliberately more intimate, more exclusive, and more qualitative.
Our ambition was simple: to allow each guest to fully experience Magnum in an environment where interactions would be more natural, encounters more authentic, and content creation more fluid.
We thus designed an event on a human scale, conceived as an elegant interlude in the heart of the Cannes bustle.
This approach created an atmosphere particularly appreciated by the talents present, who were able to enjoy the event in privileged conditions, far from the saturation often found during the Festival.
Create a strong and distinctive moment
Aurélien Froissart's live performance was conceived as a true highlight of the event. His universe, blending elegance, emotion, and modernity, naturally aligned with the experience we aimed to create for Magnum.
Prioritize exclusivity
We deliberately limited the number of guests in order to prioritize the quality of exchanges, the comfort of the creators present, and content creation in the best possible conditions. This approach allowed the event to stand out within a Festival marked by a high density of activations.
After several weeks of preparation, the Magnum x Maison Bold activation came to life on the iconic Magnum Beach, at the heart of the Cannes Film Festival.
Conceived as an immersive and premium experience, the event brought together content creators, personalities, and VIP guests in a setting that fostered exchange, networking, and organic content creation.
From the scenography to the entertainment, every element of the setup was designed to reflect the Magnum universe while offering a memorable experience to the attending guests.
